Ganesh Chaturthi is one of the important festivals in Hindu, especially for Maharashtrains. But today the festival is celebrated by different caste and religion around the world to worship Lord Ganesha. As we know Chaturthi is soon going to touch in next month, people are busy in the preparations and decoration seating platforms for Bappa. It is not possible for all to keep idol in their home and this is the reason during this festivals there is huge crowd been observed in various Ganapati temples all around the country. Siddhivinayak Mandir is one such sacred place sited near Prabhadevi, Dadar (Mumbai) in the state of Maharashtra.
The Siddhivinayak temple is highly reversed deity which was built back in the year 1801 by Mr. Laxman Vithu and Mrs. Deubai Patil. The entrance of the temple is engraved with different images of Siddhivinayak Ganapati in addition to glimpse of Asthtavinayak that symbolize eight manifestations of Ganesha’s. The idol of Siddhivinyak Temple is drew with 4 arms holding a flower of lotus, plate of modaks, an axe and garland of beautiful beads in each hands. The beautiful image is layed by Riddhi & Siddhi, which are known as the two consorts of Ganesha.
